If we are all honest, community is something we all crave.  As much as sitting at home watching Netflix and scrolling through Facebook seems appealing (especially when it is -1 outside).  Deep down inside a community of people around us is what we want.  We watch shows about little towns in Canada that change their name to Hope because of the community coming together and think “man that would never happen today.” But, if we look closely at the world around us there is evidence of this. Just look at what happened in Texas after Hurricane Harvey, the same can be said about Florida and Puerto Rico.  When push comes to shove communities do come together. Being a part of something greater is inside of all of us.  Having a purpose and a voice is something we all crave. Having people to share memories with brings life to us all.

Young Living not only brought amazing products into my families life, but it also brought a community of people that I could not be more grateful for.  This group that I am a part of is so encouraging, uplifting, correcting and fun.  Yes, I put the word correcting in there, because true friendships are built on trust and being able to correct each other when needed.  It is a community that has developed because of the heart of one person.  Monique Mclean.  She discovered Young Living in 2012 and in 2013 after a lot of prayer decided to pursue doing the business side of the company.  Her main purpose for it was to further the name of Jesus.  To bring glory to his name through all of it.  Because of this heart, she rose quickly to the top ranks in the company and is very “successful” in the eyes of the world.  However,  in the midst of all of this growth, a community of people was born.  This community is full of people from ALL walks of life and different personalities.  Some of us are a little shyer and reserved others are highly motivated and ready for a party always.  But, despite our personality differences, we have one common purpose and goal.  That is to better the lives of others around us.  So whether we are working on posts for a Facebook community we help run, or we are making each other laugh with silly GIF comments,  we are here for each other.  We pray for each other constantly.  Uplift when one of us is having a bad day.  Plan and execute amazing events for our teams.  Come together and support when families are battling odds that no one should have to deal with.   Whatever the situation,  I know there are people out there that have my back, and I have theirs.

This is a culture that I hope to also achieve with all of you.  Whether you join Young Living or not.  Lee and I both strive to be loyal and trustworthy.  To be people of character.  To be people who say they are going to do what they say they are going to do.  To lift you up when you might be having a dark day.  To laugh with you on the happiest of days and to stand by you on the days you are not sure what is happening.

In the end.  Do not let the chance of community pass you by.  Take a chance in whatever place you are and hold onto it.  You will not regret it.
